About the event
Embark on a captivating journey of scientific discovery with our Natural Scientists class, guided by the experienced nature educator Natalia. Renowned for her nature-led teaching style and expertise gained from leading programs across the valley, Natalia invites toddlers to join us on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 PM for an immersive hour-long exploration.
In today's fast-paced world, providing children with opportunities to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them is vital. Our Natural Scientists class offers exactly that, allowing toddlers to explore the beauty of the natural world through hands-on activities and scientific exploration.
Through engaging with a rich variety of natural materials, toddlers ignite their curiosity and stimulate their senses, fostering a love for science and essential skills for future academic success. From sensory bins filled with sand, rocks, and leaves to nature-inspired art projects, every activity is carefully designed to encourage observation, interaction, and respect for the environment.
Research has shown that exposure to nature during early childhood can have a profound impact on cognitive, emotional, and physical development. By engaging with natural materials and observing the wonders of the natural world, children develop important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and empathy.
In our Natural Scientists class, children not only explore scientific concepts but also learn to ask questions, make observations, and draw conclusions—skills essential for future learning. Join us as we inspire a lifelong love of learning and curiosity about the natural world!
